Daily DeviationGiven 2006-12-18Vermeer portrayed women at work, and these were the women I thought of when I saw this beautiful photo - praha-marionety01 I am an absolute lover of 3200 film with its warmth and grain. Also, the way that the light source (the sewing machine's light) allows the woman's hands to glow reminds me of the contained candlelight of the paintings of the old masters. The hands, the sewing machine, and the woman's arms are so beautiful in this photo. I would love to see ~schultz0's real hand printed photos. I actually have a machine like that one, sometimes I use it to make some bags, clothes...

no worries. i find comfort in my passion for photography, printing, so showing work is really secondary to that. validation for me happens in staying productive, though i do enjoy critiques as much as anyone else.
Nice photo, I love the light play.
